Hi friends,

In today's briefing:

3.  Watching the initial policy pronouncements and statements of intent of an important leader like the US President is a must for people like us who pursue / watch the international scene.  A look at some of his pronouncements.

4.  Is M$ faltering?  It announces 5000 job cuts.

5.  Achieving the same with a different approach is what Bjorn Lomborg very good at.  Look at this noted environmentalist's take on CO2 reductions.

6.  Let's give a Thumbs Up to Pepsico for planning to introduce nimbu pani.

7.  Slumdog Millionaire gets 10 Oscar nominations.  AR Rahman gets three of them.
