Hi friends,

Continuing yesterday's briefing about Dera Sacha Sauda, I also gave you a brief about Sikh politics.  Take a look at it in our Discover It blog.

And don't forget the quiz page.  I am uploading the quiz everyday between 6 AM to 10 AM.

In today's briefing:

1.  We have all learnt about the ECB cap of $18 bn; know?  See by how much margin was it breached by our corporate sector.

2.  Time to sing praises for Mayawati.  All the best to her.  Look at th eblog to know why.

3.  Meenas and Bhil Meenas -- what do you know about them?  Are you from Rajasthan?

4.  Heard of NAAC accreditation ever in education?

5.  Something about Green tax.  What is it proposed to be levied on?

6.  Some noteworthy comments excerpted from today's ET.

7.  Take a look at the irrigation progress under the 10th Plan.

8.  What does IIPCAG stand for and what does it do?

9.  You can't refuse to learn anything about IT and Web in this MAD MAD world.  Ever heard of "Second Life"?  My son studying his CSE in BITS, Pilani astounded me when he said he doesn't know about it.  Had to force him to have a look at it.  I am doing the same with all of you.  Becos you can't just ignore this game err... life at all.  It's a virtual world out there.  People are establishing embassies in it.  Perhaps it will become a phenomenon (in my view it is already) in course of time.

Happy reading.

Ramakrishna
