Current affairs briefing for 10th May, 2007.

Hi friends,

Here goes our link for today:

http://indiancurrentaffairs.blogspot.com/2007/05/10052007.html

1.  Ever heard of a runoff poll?  What exactly is it?  Take a look.  Can our MLC elections be called runoff polls?

2.  A unique way of helping the poor farmers while tackling the GHG emissions.  Take a look at the World Bank funded project.

3.  60th Cannes Film Festival is about to be held.  From when?  To which date?

4.  Unilever is really unique.  Take a look at the lengths to which it will go to be socially responsible!!!

5.  Which Press Note governs the FDI in real estate?  Any idea?

6.  The Supreme Court is grappling with the OBC quota issue.  In this context, some of the questions that were posed to it by the arguing parties are framed in neatly worded sentences by it.  Take a look at them.  I think it is worth debating each and every point in detail.  It would help you in your mains exams and interview.

That's all for today.

Happy reading.

Ramakrishna
