In today's briefing:

1.  One of you asked me to write something about India's signing of the NPT.  Take a look at what I noted in Discover It blog.

2.  Then a good power point presentation on time management.  Look here.

3.  India has very large thorium reserves.  But how large are they?  Any idea?  What could be its import?  We may be crystal gazing here; but it is a good pastime at times.

4.  Why does the IT Act need a review?  I am speaking of the Information Technology Act; not the other one.

5.  Define a green building?  Compare your definition with what I noted.

6.  Sunita Williams is on visit to India.  So much hype is being made about it.

7.  Inflation at all time low.  Again due to base effect.  Recall what is base effect here.

8.  Government is liberalizing the rules regarding night shift for women employees.  It is good.  But why?  Is there any international convention about it?  Where do we stand with regard to that?

9.  Russia is thinking of an alternative for Baikonur cosmodrome.  Can you imagine why?

10.  Don't forget your daily dose of quiz here.

That's all for today.

Happy reading.

Ramakrishna
