Hi friends,

And here is today's quiz:
http://discover-it.blogspot.com/2006/09/quiz.html

In today's briefing:

1.  We have been reading for the last couple of days about sub-prime mortgage market in the US.  What does it exactly mean?  Take a look.

2.  Can it be called the wheel turning full circle?  A political party which is always in forefront of mass agitations, is now finding itself at the receiving end.  In West Bengal.  Nandigram.

3.  Can you name the first Indian space tourist.  Commercial tourist I mean.

4.  We should never get tired of learning or re-learning some of the important concepts that keep appearing in the press.  It is very likely that such concepts are asked as interview questions.  Take a look again at 'shelf prospectus'.

5.  Ever heard of insurance for land titles?  See what it does.

6.  Once in a while it is time to upgrade our vocabulary.  What do you understand by 'smorgasbord'.

7.  Look at our natural gas consumption and transmission pipeline figures.

8.  How do you make new projects attractive for lenders?

9.  Not to leave sports -- let's take a look at Beckham's career.  Where is he going?  From where?

That's all for today.

Happy reading.

Ramakrishna
