In today's briefing:

1.  Remember Luna?  That was introduced way back in 1974.  Then followed, a decade later Kinetic.  Now Kinetic has changed hands and is with Mahindra group.  Why is Mahindra entering into the two wheeler segment?

2.  A bit about FSSA.  It stands for Food Safety & Standards Act.  What is it supposed to replace?  Why is it in the news?

3.  A look at how the under-recoveries are adversely impacting our oil behemoths.  IOC.

4.  Remember anything about domestic convertible bonds?  I am sure you would have remember something about the FCCBs.  Look at the domestic version now.

5.  Something more on the failure of the WTO talks.  One more nail that was driven in the coffin of these talks was the anti-concentration clause.  What does it try to achieve?

6.  A very good article on defence offset policy appeared in todays' ET.  I wrote an excerpt from it in today's Discover It.

7.  Another very good article that appeared was on VAT.  A very good read.

8.  Know the priciest foods of the world?  Does India hose any one of them?

That's it for today.  Happy reading.
