[Indian Current Affairs:706] Current affairs briefing for 22nd December, 2008

Hi friends,

The Internet is playing hide and seek with us.  Still no improvement.  Hence the erratic posting.

In today's briefing:

1.  A look at why it is not so depressing on the job scene for us in India.

2.  Belgian PM loses his job to credit crunch.

3.  Corporates patch up with their bankers in the cross currency derivative products issue.

4.  A re-look at double taxation and treaty shopping.

5.  We look at two new words in language lessons today:  scudding and deli.

That's enough for today.  Hope this gets posted to all of you.  Even Google is seen to be posting erratically, mails to our ICA group.  I suspect it has got to do with the Internet problem.

Ramakrishna
