[Indian Current Affairs:636] Current affairs briefing for 26th September, 2008

Hi friends,

Here is our link for today:

http://indiancurrentaffairs.blogspot.com/2008/09/26092008.html

In today's briefing:

1.  Justice Nanavati commission submits the first part of its report.  The same was tabled in the Gujarat assembly.

2.  Language lessons: on the ball.

3.  Some hard facts and figures about the US financial crisis from Saumitra Chaudhuri.  Very good article.

4.  Google comes out with its phone.  It is called G1.  Whether or not it will create that much hype as iPhone remains to be seen.

5.  P-note and FII norms are set for review.

6.  A look at GE's profit figures in these troubled times.  Still a couple of GEs is all what is needed to match our country's budget.  That is what is meant by size.

That's it for today.  Happy reading.
