Current affairs briefing for 25th June, 2007.

Hi friends,

Here goes our link for today:

http://indiancurrentaffairs.blogspot.com/2007/06/25062007.html

And I have posted the quiz for today.  You can access that at http://quizindia.blogspot.com/

In today's briefing:

1.  Nepal is going to have a constituent assembly in November.

2.  Heard of Indira Kranthi Patham?  Look at its special feature in AP.

3.  Why bother if WTO talks fall through?  What consequences could follow?  Good or bad?  I don't necessarily subscribe to what all has been noted there in our blog.

4.  If a tomato and a lemon are married, what would be the result?  Lemento?

5.  Some peculiarity about excise duty on LPG and Kerosene.

6.  IPI pipeline dreams.  People, even Union Ministers seems to be not short of dreams in some respects.  Hope their dreams do come through.

7.  Some hard facts and figures at household investment figures in India and the US.

8.  ADB's key staff.  Can you name the President?  Can you tell me whether or not it has a General President?  Juss kidding.  It has Managing Director General!!!

9.  India's Cricket playing is now in ____ jubilee.  How old is it?  Test cricket that is.

That's all for today.  Happy reading.
