Current affairs briefing for 16th June, 2007.
Hi friends,
As my internet connection from home was down, I could not upload our quiz today in the morning. Uploaded it just now. Take a look at it here. http://quizindia.blogspot.com/
Here are our links for today:
http://discover-it.blogspot.com/2007/06/answers-to-some-shout-box-queries-3.html
http://indiancurrentaffairs.blogspot.com/2007/06/16062007.html
In today's briefing:
1. Looks like my busy schedule is keeping me away from the shout-box more often that what I would have preferred to. So not to let you down, I have resorted to answering the queries -- sometimes in a more detailed way than is otherwise possible through shout-box -- in our Discover It blog. In today's Discover It I have answered some more important questions. Do take a look.
2. Do you know the creator of the character Mowgli? Don't ask me who is Mowgli; you won't know? All of you are more TV age people than what I am.
3. Sivaji cinema. Parkalama?
4. FII portfolio investments still in a quandary.
5. Ever heard of 'category killer' in retail business? I was surprised by the new terminology that is flooding us every other week.
6. Something about the H1-B visa controversy.
7. Some opinion on our current examination system. In the light of remarks made by Prof. CNR Rao.
8. Cadbury == our road side hotel?
9. World's longest over land tunnel opened for traffic.
10. New standard for kilogram measurement.
11. RBI divests its stake in SBI.
12. Where is the Tribal University coming up?
That's all for today. Happy reading.

Agloco view bar is available for download
Hi friends,
Those of you that joined my Agloco network, please note that Agloco started allowing the download of their viewbar. I have downloaded and it is working well. So we get to earn something out of this. I suggest that all of you download and install the viewbar. It will enable us to earn a little extra for the kind of time we keep spending before the Internet everyday.
Those of you that didn't, I welcome you again to join Agloco. You can find a direct link to my Agloco network from our blogs. Just for your ready reference, I am giving it again here: http://www.agloco.com/r/BBBX5954
I suggest that all of you join my mGinger.com network also. The link to it is available from our blogs. Anyway for your ready reference it is here: http://www.mginger.com/index.jsp?inviteId=32
I heard that one more Chennai based company is coming out with a product resembling mGinger.com. As and when I get to know more about it, I will keep you all posted about it.
Though we should not be dreaming of making thousands of rupees from them, these are some simple and convenient ways of making honest money on the Internet and using mobiles. We don't lose anything. We don't need to buy anything. We don't need to seriously request anybody for joining these networks. People will always see the benefit in them and join anyway.
Have a nice day.
